Awaiting our Little Abe

All is well here in Kona, Hawaii as we eagerly await the coming birth of our first little boy, Abraham Per Mitchell. (Above is a picture of his face taken from a 3D ultrasound.) Although we still have two and a half months to go, we're already feeling like proud parents as we go to ultrasounds and see little Abe move his little limbs and open and close his mouth. The doctors say that he is doing great, with a strong, healthy heartbeat. I'm feeling a lot of movement from him these days, and can watch my belly move as if an alien were about to pop out! He is a very active little boy!

Below are a couple of photos done by students here at the university...

Hey guys,
This is what is so cool about blogs -- we can keep up with you from so far away!! Wendy, you look so beautiful (love the belly photos!) and you both look so happy -- I can just tell that parenthood is going to suit you! Jake, our budding marine biologist, loved the snorkeling pics.
Thanks for posting and letting us see you from miles away.
Love,
Kris, Todd, Jake, Grace, and Maggie Stevenson
